Kelly Gogliuzza

Dancer / Choreographer / Artist

Kelly Gogliuzza is a NYC-based dancer who is originally from Mount Laurel, NJ.

She earned her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Towson University, graduating with NHSDA honors. While earning her degree, she studied with artists such as Andrea Miller (Gallim), Ephrat Asherie, and Laura Halzack. After graduating, she continued her training under numerous Paul Taylor dancers while studying on scholarship.

During her time in undergrad, Kelly developed a strong reverence for meditation and somatics, which led her to incorporating tarot into her dance practice. She uses tarot as a reflective and intuitive tool, drawing on its archetypes, imagery, and her own intuition to spark movement ideas and guide intention.

For Kelly, dance is the language through which she moves through the world. She listens to the energy moving through her body, carving out the space around her with intention. Combining her dance practice with tarot allows Kelly to move beyond the physical world and connect with something larger than herself.

As a choreographer, Kelly approaches her work as an expression of her deepest truths and experiences. Exploring the complexities of emotion and the human experience drives her creative process. She is inspired by human connection and how people influence one another through openness and vulnerability. Through choreography, she seeks to express her inner world and use movement to grow, heal, and change.
